Oh, happy days, these blackbirds are finally hitting the road to a vacation destination! These adventurous birds are packed and on their way! Carved entirely from American chestnut with so much detail, two chubby blackbirds are perched on a suitcase all loaded on an antique style cart. I'm not certain the looking glass is as good as a GPS but they seem to be headed in the right direction! And of course they proudly display the American flag while on their journey. The American flag, part of the bird's feet and the rusty wheels are all made from copper tubing, sheeting and wire by the artist. This one is truly unique.
