Two of my favorites, blackbirds and pears, what a combination! This patriotic blackbird proudly displays an American flag in its beak while perched on an over sized pear. Hand carved entirely from American chestnut. The flag and feet are made from copper wire and mesh by the artist. There are several worm holes visible on the blackbird, but just in the right places and the wood grain is awesome!
