This Happy Little Blackbird is doing a balancing act on a pumpkin stem and I believe he's singing a favorite tune, maybe "Oh, Happy Day." Hand carved from American Chestnut, he's silly and cute and will put a smile on your face! The wood grain is wonderful and there is lots of detail. The blackbird's feet are made from copper wire and finished with some secret stuff to make them look real. Even I don't know what the stuff is! LOL!
