Snowballs by the Dozens

Size: 7 inches tall by 8 inches wide

This silly scene is a Snowman pulling a small sled with a pile of snowballs and a darling hen nestled comfortably on them while a curious friend closely examines the strange looking eggs. Hand carved from American chestnut with lots of wood grain peeking through the paint. I want to point out that Peter likes to antique everything so the snow, eggs and snowman are not a bright white. The snowman's twig arms are made from copper wire and textured and the sled runners are made from copper and then aged with a rust solution.
